War Front Filly First Yearling to Reach Seven Figures at KEESEP

A War Front filly, consigned as Hip 99 from the Lane’s End consignment, was the first yearling to reach seven figures during Monday’s first session of the Keeneland September sale. Produced by the unraced Mr. Greeley mare Azzedine, the dark bay was purchased by Shel Evans for $1,000,000. Her second dam is multiple graded stakes winner Atelier (Deputy Minister) and she hails from the family of Grade I winner Aldiza and champion Althea. The Feb. 28 foal was bred in Kentucky by Breffni Farm.
